CREATE A LIFE YOU LOVE BY INCORPORATING SOOTHING SELF-CARE PRACTICES INTO YOUR ROUTINE. ENJOY THIS LIST OF THE BEST SELF CARE PRODUCTS TO PAMPER YOURSELF, NOURISH YOUR BODY AND SOOTHE YOUR SOUL.

Self-care is one of the best ways to nurture your mind, body and soul, yet busy schedules make it easy to put personal needs on the back burner.
That doesn’t make it any less important to take care of yourself.
And while a visit to the spa every couple of months is certainly a fabulous way to pamper yourself, it’s not the kind of self-care that will make a lasting and positive impact on your life.
So what will?
Making self-care part of your daily routine — even if you can only devote 5 or 10 minutes a day. And what better way to make your wellbeing a priority than with the best self-care products you can use just about every single day?
Seriously, say yes to self care!
Even though spending money in the name of self-care isn’t absolutely necessary, it’s still nice to indulge a little. So enjoy this list of my 13 favorite self-care products that you can easily add into your daily and weekly routine to love yourself that much more.

1. Essential oil roll on
More than just a pretty smell, essential oils are regarded as having a range of benefits that can potentially boost your health and wellbeing. There are a number of ways to use essential oils, from adding them to your skincare products to diffusing them.
In my opinion, using a roll-on bottle is one of the easiest ways to incorporate essential oils into a daily self-care routine.
Leave one at your work desk, put one in your nightstand drawer or take one with you on the go for an instant pick-me-up. Really, they’re that convenient.
(Confession time: There’s a good chance I’m late to the party as I only recently discovered essential oil roll ons. But I honestly can’t get enough of them!)
Typically, these essential oil blends are packaged in a small glass roller bottle, already diluted and ready to roll. 😉
All you have to do is apply a small amount of the blend to areas like your temples, wrists or inner elbows.
Best of all, you don’t need to apply very much, so a small bottle can go a looooong way.
My current favorite is anything by Aura Cacia. I’m loving the Lavender and Chill Pill blends.
2. Affirmation cards
The way you talk to yourself matters, sis. In fact, both positive and negative self-talk can play a big role in your level of confidence and happiness, not to mention your outlook on life.
And sometimes it’s nice to have a friendly reminder of our beauty and worth. These words of affirmation cards are one of the best self-care products to do just that.
Read over them and reflect on each message. Let them serve as little nuggets of positivity and empowerment throughout your day.
3. Organic India Tulsi tea
Considered a sacred herb throughout India, Tulsi (or Holy Basil) is noted as having healing properties that can alleviate stress and promote a healthy mind, body and spirit. Other incredible benefits may include the ability to:
- Lower blood sugar
- Ease inflammation
- Reduce cancer cell growth
Choose Tulsi Original for comfort in a cup, or any of their other varieties.
Tulsi Green is my personal favorite, which is a combination of Holy Basil and green tea, and is always a delight to drink — earthy and soothing.
Organic India also has a number of other teas worth trying: Sweet Rose, Turmeric Ginger, Moringa and plenty more.
4. Jane Iredale magic mitt
Sticking to a daily skincare routine is a must if you want healthy and vibrant skin. Luckily, caring for your skin can be more than just a mundane task, but a time for mindful beauty practices and self love.
And I don’t know about you, but it’s nice to know the products I’m using are helping my skin and body, not being too harsh or loading it with too many chemicals.
Which is what makes this mitt so darn magical.
I’ve been using the magic mitt by Jane Iredale for years. It’s a knitted microfiber cleansing cloth designed to gently remove makeup on its own. That’s right, no traditional cleanser needed.
On the other hand, if you still want to use your favorite cleanser with the magic mitt, that works too.
And while the mitt is noted as even removing mascara, I still prefer to use sweet almond oil to remove any makeup around my eyes.
5. Inspirational mug
For coffee, tea or anything in between, a pretty inspirational mug is a charming addition to any self-care routine.
Remember I mentioned how affirmation cards can serve as a reminder of your awesomeness? A mug with a motivational message can do the same, like this mug by Beautifulgiftshop on Etsy.
Not only does it have an encouraging message, but you can personalize it with your name. I imagine that it could also make a really sweet gift for someone special in your life.
6. Lavender eye pillow
Pamper yourself and quiet your mind with a calming eye pillow.
Relaxing under a weighted eye pillow is something that could easily be incorporated into your nighttime routine to help you unwind. Hop into bed and simply lay it across your eyes for a few moments before drifting off to sleep.
An eye pillow can also serve as warm or cold therapy by either warming it up in the microwave or placing it in the freezer for about an hour prior to use.
NagihanDesigns on Etsy creates beautiful eye pillows made with organic flaxseed and 100% cotton. Choose the lavender scented option for the addition of essential oil and organic dried lavender flowers.
This shop has so many beautiful fabric choices to choose from. Browse the eye pillow collection to find a pattern that fits your style and personality best.
7. Dr. Bronner’s organic sugar soap
A shower or bath will always be one of the best ways to slip in a bit of self-care.
One of the reasons why I absolutely love Dr. Bronner’s products? Because from their lip balm to lotion to soap, everything is crafted with organic and fair-trade ingredients.
But that’s not all, sister. The company takes incredible care in creating only the best quality and environmentally responsible products. And much of what they sell is multi-purpose. Like their pure-castile liquid soap, which can be used for cleaning your body and just about everything in your house.
I’m all about Dr. Bronner’s Organic Sugar Soap for non-toxic clean feels, fresh smells and rejuvenated vibes post shower. Use it as shampoo, body wash or face wash. Choose from lavender, peppermint, lemongrass, tea tree or unscented.
Plus, you know how a lot of natural soap products out there don’t really lather? Not the case with this stuff. It has a surprisingly rich lather for having all-natural ingredients.
8. Soy wax + essential oil candle
Practically any time of day is a good time of day to light a candle. Even better, it’s a no-nonsense way of enhancing a number of self-care activities.
Want to add a little something, something while you’re reading a book, taking a shower, drinking tea or journaling? Need to calm your mind and invite cozy vibes?
Light a candle. Bam. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
As for me, I can always make room for a quality soy wax candle made with essential oils.
AcaciaAccents crafts some of the best 100% soy wax + essential oil candles.
Awaken, a blend of lavender, lemon and eucalyptus, could be a good choice anytime you want to feel energized, whereas Cozy Nights, a combination of cedarwood, vanilla and lavender, would be perfect for unwinding at the end of a long day.
9. Silk pillowcase
Smoother hair and fewer wrinkles are just a pillowcase away.
As it turns out, sleeping on a silk pillowcase creates less friction. This can help tame locks because of reduced bedhead, frizz and breakage. And if that’s not enough, silk pillowcases are noted as being less harsh on your skin for fewer fine lines and wrinkles over time.
Plus, they’re so buttery soft it’s hard not to feel like a princess sleeping on one.
This silk pillowcase on Amazon is highly rated and quite affordable. Interested in splurging just a little? Good Housekeeping recommends this one.
10. bkr glass water bottle
Pretty sure that everyone needs a water bottle that not only motivates you to drink more water, but looks good doing it.
And drinking enough water is undeniably one of the best ways to take care of yourself.
Aside from my monster Yeti Rambler that I use every single day, my bkr glass water bottle has become a staple any time I know I’ll be on the go.
What do you think, could this be everything you want in a water bottle? With plenty of color choices, multiple sizes, the spiked silicone sleeve option and fun accessories like the Kiss Kit, this is one water bottle hard to pass up.
11. Origins Modern Friction exfoliator
Exfoliation removes dead skin cells, unclogs pores, prevents acne, evens out your skin tone — the list goes on. If you’re not exfoliating now, now is a good time to start.
Sad to say this, but I invested in a quality exfoliator later than I really should have. But once I decided to, Origins Modern Friction exfoliator was there to greet me.
It was like wow.
Having sensitive skin, it’s not always easy to find products gentle enough. But I’m completely sold on Modern Friction. I literally saw instant results.
While not exactly inexpensive, it’s not too expensive either. One bottle has lasted me quite a long time, which justifies the price.
12. Face roller
Typically made from jade or rose quartz, face rollers are a fun and pretty way to invite more self-care into your beauty routine.
Massaging your face with a roller is meant to de-puff and firm up your skin through improved blood circulation. One can also help relieve your body of toxins and stimulate collagen production. Learn more about face rolling here.
13. Foam roller
Your face isn’t the only thing you can roll, sister. Enter foam rolling.
Foam rolling is a way of self-massaging. It’s commonly saved for before or after a workout session to warm up your muscles and help them recover faster, among other benefits.
Get started by reading more about foam rolling here, but you’ll also want to check out this article with videos to watch a few basic moves.
(Exercising regularly has so many incredible benefits. Right now I’m getting my workout on at a local fitness center. In case you’re wondering if a gym membership is the right move for you, too, read my article on why investing in a gym membership is one of the best things I’ve done for myself.)
At the moment, I’m using the TriggerPoint GRID foam roller. Not only is it highly rated and quite possibly one of the best roller options you’ll find, but I’ve personally tried a few others and always go back to my TriggerPoint.
